Industrial Screen Under Extreme Environment Testings

Categories

Industrial Monitors or Panel PCs that work in harsh environments require a high-reliability system design to maintain normal functions. Especially in the military, telecommunications, electric power, metallurgy, machinery, CNC, petroleum, chemical, medical, transportation, instrumentation, aerospace, and various on-site control and monitoring, systems are often exposed to extreme environments such as extreme temperatures, humidity, and dust.

According to the supported working temperature range, the display screen is divided into three types: normal temperature, wide temperature and ultra-wide temperature.

Normal temperature screen supports working temperature of 0℃~50℃.

Wide temperature screen supports working temperature of -20℃~+70℃.

The ultra-wide temperature screen supports working temperature between -40℃~+90℃.

Generally, a display with good low-temperature performance has poor high-temperature performance. The wider the operating temperature range is, the higher the price is. Users can choose suitable display screen products according to actual conditions of use.

Wide-temperature LCD has the characteristics of anti-vibration, anti-electromagnetic interference, stable picture quality, and wide temperature range.

Industrial wide temperature panel: -40°C~+65°C.

Other factors should be considered:

1. Capacitive Touch or Resistive Touch

2. If with Capacitive Touch, Optical Bonding is recommended
