Industrial Computer Has Few USB Ports, Can It Be Expanded?

Categories

Industrial computers, like commercial computers, have USB ports.

USB interface, also known as Universal Serial Bus. It is a serial bus standard for connecting computer systems and external devices, as well as a technical specification for input and output interfaces. It is widely used in information communication products such as personal computers and mobile devices and is extended to photographic equipment, digital TV (set-top boxes), game consoles, and other related fields. Industrial computers generally have more than two USB ports. For some industrial applications, there are many USB interfaces required. What should I do if there are few USB ports, can it be expanded?

For industrial computers, USB interfaces can be expanded and increased. Two ways: One is to use the built-in mini PCI-E expansion slot and add an expansion board to increase it; the other is to use an external USB hub to increase.

MINI PCI-E expansion slot, add an expansion board to expand the USB interface
External USB integrator, add USB interface

In addition, an external USB integrated port can be added outside of the industrial computer. This approach is relatively simple and can be disassembled at any time.
